ProgBit presentation

Progbit is an independent design center helping you to convert your idea into your product. We have wide knowledge of electronic design covering all aspects from hardware to embedded systems including processor and FPGAs. Our main focus is implementing advanced functions in FPGAs.

Our employees have an average experience of more than 25 years. This experience ensures that our design methodology is first class and that your product will be of superior quality.

We are located in Bergen at the West coast of Norway, but have customers from all over the world.

AutoReg

Finally the evaluation version of AutoReg is available. This tool has been used internally by ProgBit for many years. AutoReg automatically generate C and VHDL code for the register interface between the processor and the FPGA. In addition VHDL templates for all modules in the FPGA are generated. By using this tool you have a […]

FPGA-forum

ProgBit will participate and have an exhibition at the FPGA-Forum 2017 in Trondheim 15-16. February. In addition to present our design services, we will demonstrate the AutoReg tool. FPGA-forum is a yearly event for the Norwegian FPGA community. FPGA-designers, project managers, technical managers, researchers, final year students and the major vendors gather for a two-day […]

What is an FPGA?

FPGA is acronym for Field Programmable Gate Array. This is an integrated circuit designed to be configured by a customer or a designer after manufacturing. By this you get the functionality exactly as you want. They are based around a matrix of configurable logic blocks (CLBs) connected via programmable interconnects. FPGAs can be reprogrammed to […]
